Welcome to Flinders! Pack your cossie and towels, golf clubs and hiking shoes, because Flinders is all about the sea, sun and fun.

Flinders Beach is situated on the calm shores of Western Port. Stretching out from the beach is Flinders Pier, providing an underwater oasis for the weedy sea dragon, octopus and marine life. There’s a grassed area overlooking the beach providing the perfect spot for a family picnic and the rockpools exposed by low tide are made for little beach adventures.

Mushroom Reef Marine Sanctuary can be found on the southern side, facing the rugged Bass Strait, where you’ll find intertidal coastal rock formations ideal for exploration, diving and snorkelling.

Flinders Blowhole is a short 3min drive from the motel, where you’ll discover the natural phenomenon of wild surf crashing onto the rugged Bass Strait basalt coastline. Enjoy the walking track leading to the rockpools at low tide. Beware of strong sea swells and don’t enter the open sea.

For over 110 years, Flinders Golf Club have welcome visitors to their stunning fairways perched on the clifftops of Flinders, overlooking Bass Strait and Western Port.

Art galleries, speciality shops, a chocolaterie, and a general store are steps from your motel door. Shop up a storm, find that piece you’ve been searching for, and pick up some local antipasti for afternoon drinks in your private courtyard.
